A 1-Hour Lunch & Learn with Melissa Kelleher

Virtual Via Zoom | 11:30am-12:30pm

Presentation: This finance training is designed for vendors working with the Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services and the Governor’s Commission on Alcohol and Other Drugs. The session provides a comprehensive overview of how to determine whether a vendor is a subrecipient or contractor, how to evaluate subrecipient risk, and how to implement monitoring strategies that align with the level of identified risk. It also offers detailed guidance on invoicing practices and the supporting documentation required to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Participants will learn to utilize available tools like the Subrecipient Determination Tool and Management Questionnaire. The training will also cover cost principles—what makes a cost allowable, reasonable, and allocable—and provide a breakdown of documentation expectations by budget category (e.g., salaries, travel, subcontracts, and training).

Because space is limited, individuals must register for sessions separately.

This training is financed under a contract with the State of NH, Department of Health and Human Services, with funds provided in part by the State of NH and/or such funding sources as were available or required, e.g., the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
