Presentation: The growing complexity of Behavioral Health practice and pace of change with social media and Artificial Intelligence can be confusing and daunting to clinicians. A few years ago, most of us knew nothing about telehealth, much less the ethical implications for confidentiality, etc.  While innovations flourish around us, the Core Principles of Ethical Practice remain relatively constant, but nuances are important to recognize.  This training attempts to cut through the fog and stormy seas of change to the lighthouse beacon:  the commonalities in the NAADAC, NASW, ACA and New Hampshire Codes of Ethics.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Identify 6 elements which are all Codes of Ethics, including New Hampshire;
2. Describe the elements of the "client Bill of Rights";
3. List the four Principles for ethical cross-cultural practice; and
4. Describe their ethical duty regarding medication-assisted treatment (including emerging psychedelic Tx), social media and the use of Artificial Intelligence.
